Welcome to Healing with Serenity. This is the next step I am taking on my journey in wellness and healing. My path began working as a Registered Nurse while working towards becoming a midwife. I have seen that there are many ways our body exhibits dysfunction and imbalance, which can be seen as early as the day we are born.
Being a midwife for 15 years, I have served many families in healing. Providing bodywork for pregnant and postpartum mothers and doing Craniosacral/Myofascial work on infants has been beyond rewarding. I felt though, that I wanted to do more, especially in continuing to serve the families I had grown to know so well. So I returned back to school to become a fully licensed Massage Therapist, This has allowed me to expand my scope of practice and work on all ages in many different modalities. While Craniosacral and myofascial therapy are favorites of mine I also offer traditional Swedish massage, lymphatic massage and Reiki healing, Often theses can be combined into one full body massage. I enjoy working with families and feel that healing is often best provided within the home, especially with children, to best suit their comfort and needs |
